Billmate is built to work without an internet connection. Your business records — invoices, customers, stock, staff and cash — are stored on your own device. We do not operate a server that holds your business data. If you choose to sign in with Google and turn on backup, a copy is saved to your own Google Drive, where only you can reach it.
Akash Shrestha, based in Nepal, publishes the Billmate mobile application. For any question about this policy, write to ak.shrestha2052@gmail.com.
When you use Billmate, the app creates and stores records locally. These stay in the app's private storage area on your phone, tablet or computer:
We have no access to any of it. It is not transmitted to us, and we cannot read, recover or delete it on your behalf.
| What | Why | Who handles it |
|---|---|---|
| Purchase and licence status | To unlock paid features and restore purchases on a new device | Google Play Billing, Apple App Store, RevenueCat |
| Google account email, name and account ID | To connect optional backup to your own Google Drive | |
| Messages you send us | To answer your support request | Us, by email |
Purchases are processed entirely by the app store. We never see your card number, bank details or billing address. Payment providers handle that information under their own privacy policies.
You can refuse or withdraw any of these in your device settings. The rest of the app continues to work.
Billmate has a free version and a paid version. Both handle your data in exactly the same way: records stay on your device, there is no advertising in either, and nothing about your business is collected by us in either.
The paid version is unlocked by a purchase made through Google Play or the App Store. The store tells the app whether a valid purchase exists; that check is handled for us by RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous identifier and your purchase status. It does not receive your invoices, customers, stock or any other business record.
We never see your card number, bank details or billing address. Refunds and billing questions are handled by the store you bought from, under its own terms.
Signing in with Google is optional. The app works fully without it, and nothing is signed in by default.
If you do sign in, Google gives the app your email address, your name and your Google account identifier. We use these only to identify the backup that belongs to you and to show which account is connected. We do not build a profile from them, send you marketing, or pass them to anyone else.
Backups are written to your own Google Drive, not to a server of ours. The backup contains the business records described above so that you can restore them on a new device. Because the file sits in your Drive, you control it: you can view, download or delete it at any time from your Google account, and you can disconnect Billmate at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Signing out removes the connection from the app. It does not delete backups already in your Drive — delete those in Drive if you want them gone.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. Billmate contains no advertising. Information is disclosed only to the service providers listed above, for the purposes listed, or where the law requires it of us.
Files you export — PDFs, backups, spreadsheets — leave the app and go wherever you send them. Once exported, they are outside our control and yours to protect. If your device backs up automatically to iCloud or Google Drive, your Billmate data may be included in that backup under those services' own terms.
Your records stay on your device until you delete them. Uninstalling Billmate removes the app and its local database, and that deletion is permanent — export anything you want to keep first. To remove a purchase record held by RevenueCat or to ask about a support email, write to us and we will act within 30 days.
Billmate is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or erase personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. Because your business records never reach us, most of these rights you exercise directly in the app. For anything we do hold, contact us at ak.shrestha2052@gmail.com.
If this policy changes, the revised version appears on this page with a new date. Material changes will also be noted in the app.
